Piggy Toes
From crabhappychick 17 years agoIngredients
- 2 cups light brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup margarine (yes! margarine!) shopping list
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 14 1/2 ounces Chee-tos (the puffy ones, not the fried ones) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 250. Spray a large roasting pan with Pam and put the Cheetos into it.
- In a heavy, large saucepan, mix sugar, margarine and corn syrup. Bring to a boil and continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove pan from heat and mix in baking soda. Stir in completely - it will turn white and become foamy (this is why you need to be sure to use a LARGE pot so it doesn't foam over the top).
- Pour syrup over Cheetos and toss VERY thoroughly (and gently) to coat all the puffs. Bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Spread baked puffs onto waxed paper, separating as much as possible and cool completely.
- NOTE: If you make a double recipe, bake them 20 minutes longer.

Hi,
I think this is one of those recipes that you just can't imagine the taste combo until you try it. I love cheetos. Now I'm gonna have to go buy some so I know what I've been missing. Thanks,
