Ingredients

How to make it

  • Saute butter, onion and garlic in a skillet.
  • Add ground beef. Brown well.
  • Stir in curry, salt, pepper, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, tomatoes, potatoes, and peas or beans.
  • Cover and simmer 25 minutes.
  • Serve with rice.

    A friend gave me this exact same recipe about 8 years ago! We love it and it's so easy! I used frozen cubed hash brown and frozen peas - so I almost always have the ingredients on hand. I also use 1/2 t each cinnamon, ginger and turmeric.j It's easy to throw into the slow cooker too after browning the meat.
