Pakistani Kima or Hamburger Curry

- 3 Tbs butter shopping list
- 1 c onion - chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic - mashed shopping list
- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1Tbs curry powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp each: pepper, cinnamon, ginger and turmeric shopping list
- 1 160z can cooked tomatoes shopping list
- 2 potatoes - diced shopping list
- 2c frozen peas or green beans (or 1 cup each) shopping list
- Prepared rice for 6 shopping list
How to make it
- Saute butter, onion and garlic in a skillet.
- Add ground beef. Brown well.
- Stir in curry, salt, pepper, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, tomatoes, potatoes, and peas or beans.
- Cover and simmer 25 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
