Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine 1/2 c. sugar and cornstarch in saucepan
  • Slowly add water and stir until simmering
  • Let simmer for about a minute
  • Remove from heat and mix in fruit
  • Place fruit mixture in 8x8 glass baking dish
  • Dot with a little butter if desired
  • In medium bowl, combine flour baking powder and cinnamon
  • Cut in butter until mixture looks crumblike
  • Stir in milk
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto fruit mixture
  • Evenly sprinkle sugar and a dash of cinnamon on top
  • Bake at 400 for about 35 min.
  • Cool on rack
