Quick and easy cookies,I use a little more chopped nuts.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup crushed pineapple,drained(save juice)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts,chopped(your choice of nuts)

Directions
  1. Cream shortening and sugar,add eggs and beat well
  2. add pineapple and vanilla and the sifted dry ingredients;
  3. mix well
  4. add nuts.
  5. drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets
  6. Bake at 350 for 15 min or lightly browned.
  7. Frost with powdered sugar icing using pineapple juice as liquid.
  8. put a walnut half on top
