Drunken Shrimp Kabobs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. un-cooked , de-veined tail on large shrimp
  • package of Johnsonville Brats (I like the beer brats)
  • Hand full of fresh cilantro
  • Hand full of fresh Italian Parsley
  • 2 garlic Cloves
  • 2 tablespoons real butter
  • salt/pepper
  • 3/4 cup dark rum (or malibu rum for the sweet tooth)
  • 2 heeping spoons of Honey (can use brown sugar instead)

Directions
  1. on BBQ indeirect heat cook brats for about 20 min
  2. in sauce pan put butter , rum and honey on low heat
  3. food processor but all other ingred. (except shrimp) chop up good
  4. add the fresh erbs to pan of butter and rum goodness
  5. let the rum herb concoction fuse together under low heat for about 20-30 minutes
  6. Step 1 should be put wood skewers in water for an hour before so they dont burn on grill
  7. take brats off grill and slice into 3/4" round pieces
  8. start with brat on skewer first then alternate with shrimp so that the shrimp raps around brat..
  9. slather on the rum goodness all over you kabobs (dont be shy)
  10. put kabobs on grill just for 1-2 minutes each side
  11. pull from grill and slather remaining goodness on kabobs
  12. serve with nice sticky white rice and leftover rum in your glass
  13. make sure you have condoms on hand because she or he is gonna love you : )
