Drunken Shrimp Kabobs

- 1 lb. un-cooked , de-veined tail on large shrimp shopping list
- package of Johnsonville Brats (I like the beer brats) shopping list
- Hand full of fresh cilantro shopping list
- Hand full of fresh Italian parsley shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves shopping list
- 2 tablespoons real butter shopping list
- salt/pepper shopping list
- 3/4 cup dark rum (or Malibu rum for the sweet tooth) shopping list
- 2 heeping spoons of honey (can use brown sugar instead) shopping list
How to make it
- on BBQ indeirect heat cook brats for about 20 min
- in sauce pan put butter , rum and honey on low heat
- food processor but all other ingred. (except shrimp) chop up good
- add the fresh erbs to pan of butter and rum goodness
- let the rum herb concoction fuse together under low heat for about 20-30 minutes
- Step 1 should be put wood skewers in water for an hour before so they dont burn on grill
- take brats off grill and slice into 3/4" round pieces
- start with brat on skewer first then alternate with shrimp so that the shrimp raps around brat..
- slather on the rum goodness all over you kabobs (dont be shy)
- put kabobs on grill just for 1-2 minutes each side
- pull from grill and slather remaining goodness on kabobs
- serve with nice sticky white rice and leftover rum in your glass
- make sure you have condoms on hand because she or he is gonna love you : )
