Red And Red Onions Recipe
This is a recipe developed for a sandwich topping. It gorws great with pork, turkey and a bunch of other stuff, but it also is great to top a bland piece of baked chcken , etc. It's even good over scrambled eggs or in an omlet.

Ingredients
  • Red Onions sliced thin
  • Red Wine Vinegar
  • Course salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil

Directions
  1. Slice onions thin and break apart
  2. LIghtly oil skillet or pot
  3. Bring to high heat and drop onions in all at once.
  4. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper totaste.
  5. When wilting starts, drizzle Red Wine Vinegar evenly to introduce moisture which will steam onions.
  6. Remove when fully wilted and tender.
  7. Can be chilled for later use.
  8. If making ahead, do not leave at room temperature. Keep refrigerated.
