I think I got this from either a Vacation Bible School craft kit, or from the MOP'S News letter. It's easy to make and will keep kids quiet in the car.

Ingredients
- Light corn syrup
- 1 small clear plastic jar or bottle - I like to use the ones that cake/cookie decorations come in.
- water
- Food coloring
- popsicle stick
- "Star dust" glitter, confetti shapes, sequins, bitty stars
- white craft glue or plummers goop
- colored electrical tape
Directions
- Pour syrup into jar until it's 3/4 full
- then fill jar almost to top with water
- Add one or two drops food coloring
- Use popcicle stick to mix everything together
- sprinkle a little "star dust" into the mixture
- put glue or goop around the inside edge of the lid, screw down TIGHT.
- wrap electrical tape around lid and neck of jar.
- Shake.
- This would be fun for a graduation open house too. Put little mortarboard conftetti in with the stars.
