Pecan Waffles

This is the perfect Sunday morning breakfast... or for any company...
Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted cake flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups milk shopping list
- 6 tablespoons oil shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Shift flour with baking powder and salt; set aside.
- In medium bowl, beat egg yolk, milk, and oil until well combined with mixer.
- Gradually add flour mixture, alittle at a time, beating after each addition; beat only until smooth.
- In a small bowl beat egg whites until stiff peaks; gently fold into batter just until combined.
- Stir in pecans.
- About 1/2 cup of mixture makes one big waffle.
