How to make it

  • Set oven to 325. In bowl, mix flour, soda & salt; set aside. In saucepan, mix butter, sugar and water and bring JUST to a boil. Remove. Add 1 cup chips & vanilla. Stir until smooth. Turn into large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining chips. Spread into greased 9" square pan. Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool completely before cutting. Can double and bake in 9" x 13" pan (and I ALWAYS do!).
