Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lbs minced pork
  • !garlic glove,minced
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard, "keenes" preferred
  • 1medium onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 1 large potato cooked and mashed

Directions
  1. mix all ingredients in a saucepan,(except the potato)
  2. bring to boiling point and allow to cook ,uncovered for 30 minutes
  3. add mashed potato
  4. mix all togethe and chill
  5. prepare pastry
  6. roll out to cover 9" pie plate
  7. fill with meat filling
  8. roll out crust for top of pie
  9. seal edges and cut slots for steam
  10. bake at 425f for 30 minutes
