Russian Dressing Recipe

	Grandmacooks / All my dishes 1 year, 6 months ago I loved Russian dressing when I was a child. You could get it in restaurants or bottled at the grocery store. Now I never hear of it in a restaurant, and I guess ranch has taken over the salad dressing aisle at the grocery store. Prep:5m Servings:8	Grandmacook

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise

2 Tbsp chili sauce

2 Tbsp finely chopped pimiento

1/2 tsp vinegar

1/2 tsp paprika

1 Tbsp chopped chives

1/2 of a hard-cooked egg (optional)

Directions

Mix all ingredients together until well combined.

I adore this dressing (hate ranch by the way). I remember a cold salad prep that included cubed potatoes, carrots, peas, limas and this dressing. Served on a bed of lettuce with wedges of tomato, it was a favorite of the ladies who lunched. "Grate" post.
