Russian Dressing

I loved Russian dressing when I was a child. You could get it in restaurants or bottled at the grocery store. Now I never hear of it in a restaurant, and I guess ranch has taken over the salad dressing aisle at the grocery store.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 Tbsp chili sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped pimiento shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp paprika shopping list
- 1 Tbsp chopped chives shopping list
- 1/2 of a hard-cooked egg (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together until well combined.

I adore this dressing (hate ranch by the way). I remember a cold salad prep that included cubed potatoes, carrots, peas, limas and this dressing. Served on a bed of lettuce with wedges of tomato, it was a favorite of the ladies who lunched. "Grate...more
