Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Fantasy Recipe
I just got this recipe out of my Southern Living magazine. I have not tried it yet but Im sure it will be tasty.

Ingredients
  • 1 baked pumpkin pie( you can bake your own or use a frozen pumpkin pie)
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • Carmel topping
  • Toasted pecans

Directions
  1. Place pie in freezer for 1 hour;remove pie from freezer, and chop 3/4 of pie into 1' chunks
  2. Allow ice cream to stand about 8 to 10 minutes to slighlty soften. "Chunk up" ice cream into a large bowl. Gently fold in pie chunks until blended.
  3. To serve, scoop each serving into wine glasses or dessert bowls.
  4. Drizzle with caramel topping, and top with pecans.
  5. Enjoy this comfort food!

OH MY GOODNESS - why haven't we ever thought of that...stir the pie and pecans and topping right into the ice cream!!! This has got to be bliss in a bowl...first I'm craving your bread, now it's your pumpkin dessert - you're just trying to torture me today!
