Creamy Monterey Shrimp

- 15 oz can artichoke bottoms shopping list
- 1/2 pound cooked shrimp shopping list
- 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup cream shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup sherry shopping list
- 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 dash salt & pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/4 tsp paprika shopping list
How to make it
- Chop drained artichokes & arrange in the bottom of a 8x8 casserole dish. Pour cooked shrimp over artichokes. Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter. Stir mushrooms into shrimp/artichoke mixture. Mix cream, milk, sherry, Worc. sauce, salt & pepper. Set aside. Melt remaining butter, stir in flour and cook until a light roux forms on medium heat. Turn heat to low, whisk milk mixture into roux. Whisk until sauce thickens. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream. Pour sauce over shrimp mixture. Cover with cheese and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Love those ingredients -- it takes 1/2 lb shrimp and feeds 6 people? Shoot, that can't be beat - especially for such a luscious main ingredient like SHRIMPS!! ;)
