Asparagus Salad With Pecans

- 24 fresh asparagus spears shopping list
- 6 red leaf lettuce leaves shopping list
- 6 tablespoons buttermilk mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Bring large pot of water to a boil.
- Wash asparagus and snap off tough bottoms of stems.
- When water is boiling add asparagus and let water return to a boil.
- Cook approximately 3 minutes or until asparagus is still crisp but tender.
- Remove asparagus and rinse under cold water and refrigerate to chill.
- At serving time line 6 salad plates with lettuce leaves and arrange 4 asparagus spears on each.
- Top salads with the mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of the chopped pecans.
