Cheeseburger Pie

A fun and different spin on a cheeseburger. My sister has begged me to make this for the past 20+ years!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium onion- chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp oregano shopping list
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs shopping list
- 4oz tomato sauce shopping list
- 8-9in ready made pie crust (ie Pilsbury pie crust) shopping list
- cheese Topping: shopping list
- 8oz shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4c milk shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard shopping list
- 1/2 tsp whorsteshire sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425
- brown ground beef with onion
- drain ground beef - return to skillet
- mix dry ingredents together
- add to beef in skillet
- mix in tomato sauce
- unfold pie crust, place in pie tin
- place beef in pie crust
- Topping:
- beat egg slightly
- mix cheese, egg, milk and dry ingredents together
- spread over beef mixture
- bake 30 minutes or until cheese is browned
