Ingredients

1/2 C. soft butter

1 C sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

2 tsp. cream of tartar

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 C. soft margarine

3 eggs

1 tsp baking soda

3 1/2 C flour

Directions

Beat butter, margarine, sugar and eggs until creamy. Add vanilla. Stir salt, baking soda, cream of tartar and flour together. Add to the egg mixture and let dough rest for 2-3 hours in refrigerator. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Sugar or frost just after baking.
