Rambunctious Ribs

- 1 large rack of ribs shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 handful of peppercorns, (about 10) shopping list
- Sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 3 tbsp. lime juice shopping list
- 2 tbsp. soya sauce shopping list
- 1 tbsp. minced ginger shopping list
- 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds, (optional) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cumin shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. paprika shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Place pot large enough to hold ribs and water, on the stove. Add bay leaves and peppercorns and bring to a simmer.(Watch to make sure there is enough water at all times.) After a couple hours, remove ribs from water and dry well.
- 2. Mix sauce ingredients about an hour before cooking, put them in a shallow pan or tray and spread some of the marinade on them. Get the BBQ good and hot, then turn the heat down to low. Grill the ribs for about 10-20 minutes, and keep slapping on the rest of the marinade. Keep the lid on the Q closed as much as possible to keep fire from flaring up and scorching them.
- 3. Keep lots of paper towels on hand and lots of beer to go with....enjoy!

These sounds delicious - I make them the same way, except for your choice of ingredients which I find super intriguing! And since hoisin is also used - a fave ingredient of mine....Im all in! Got me my five ribs...
