Main Dish Crescent Reubens Recipe
My mom loves a Reuban sandwich so when she came to visit we decided to try something new. Turned out great.

Ingredients
  • 1 (8-oz.) can crescent dinner rolls
  • 3 (7x4-in) slices Swiss or Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (12-oz.) can corned beef, chopped
  • 1 (14-oz.) can sauerkraut, well drained
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles.
  3. Place in ungreased 13x9-in. baking pan; press over bottom and 1/2-in. up sides to form crust.
  4. Press perforations to seal.
  5. Arrange cheese slices over dough.
  6. Spoon corned beef and sauerkraut over cheese.
  7. In medium bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; mix well.
  8. Pour over sauerkraut.
  9. Bake at 425 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until filling is set and crust is a deep golden brown.
  10. Cool 5 minutes.
  11. Cut into squares

  13. You can use 6-oz. of shredded swiss or mozzarella in place of the sliced cheese.
