CHINESE - TEA - EGGS

- 1 -DOZEN eggs shopping list
- 3 - TABLEPOONS BLACK tea leaves OR 2 tea bags shopping list
- 2 -teaSPOONS salt shopping list
- 1 -QUART boiling water shopping list
- 5 - TABLEPOONS soy sauce shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaSPOONS anise seed shopping list
- 1 - cinnamon stick shopping list
- 2 -teaSPOONS sugar shopping list
How to make it
- HARD BOIL THE DOZEN EGGS AND REMOVE SHELLS CAREFULLY SO NOT TO BREAK THE WHITES.
- POUR THE BOILING WATER OVER THE TEA AND STEEP FOR 10 MINUTES.
- STRAIN THE TEA AND ADD THE ANISE SEEDS, SOY SAUCE,AND SALT, SUGAR AND CINNAMON STICK;
- ADD PEELED EGGS AND SIMMER AT LEAST 2 HOURS.
- ADDING HOT WATER IF NEEDED TO KEEP EGGS COVERED.
- CHILL IN THIS LIQUID MIXTURE BEFORE SERVING ........

- NOTE; ......IF EGGS ARE KEPT COVERED WITH THE LIQUID THEY WILL KEEP A VERY LONG TIME IN REFRIGERATOR
- THSE EGGS ARE DIFFERENT AND A VERY GOOD APPETIZER, THEY LOOK LIKE VERY LARGE RIPE OLIVES…….. AND ARE PRETTY TO LOOK AT…. LIKE A SPIDERWEB DESIGN
