This is from Taste of Home Best Ever Casseroles. This makes 2 casseroles of 6 servings each so you can eat one and freeze one for another day.

Ingredients
  • 2 7-ounce pkgs thin spaghettie, broken into 2" pieces
  • 4 cups cubed fully cooked ham
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 2 cups (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced ripe olives, optional
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Topping:
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Cook spaghetti according to pacakage directions, drain and place in a large bowl. Stir in the ham, soup, sour cream, mushrooms, onion, olives if desired, mustard, seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Transfer to two greasted 11 " by 7" x 2" baking dishes. In a small bowl, toss bread crumbs and butter; add cheese. Sprinkle over casseroles.
  3. Cover and freee one casserole for up to 2 months. Bake the remaining casserole, uncovered, at 325 F for 30 minutes or until heated through.
  4. To use frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 325 F for 50 to 55 minutes or until heated through.

What a yummy way to use up the "salty pig"! (my eldest... I'm sorry!;)..)


I made this last night, Jill. The only thing I changed was I used shell pasta instead of spaghetti. (knew you wouldn't mind ;') I also opted out on the olives. Took a pic, I'll post and you can take me out at any time. Very good! Hubby even liked though he hated to admit it! LOL (the casserole thing)
