Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix all marinade ingredients in a 2 gallon plastic ziplock bag. Put turkey into bag with marinade, squeeze out all the air and seal tightly. Marinate overnight.
  • Remove turkey from bag, reserving marinade.
  • Insert rotisserie rod through turkey, securing with pins on ends of rotisserie. (If you don't have a rotisserie, place breast in roast rack and grill over indirect heat with a heatproof metal pan under turkey breast and proceed as with rotisserie version.) Pour 1/2 of marinade into heat proof metal pan and place pan under turkey breast. Cook turkey breast over indirect fire, basting frequently until turkey breast is cooked through, about 1 1/2 hours. Add water to pan, if necessary.
  • When done, remove turkey from spit. Let sit for 10 minutes and then slice. Serve with drippings on the side.
