Spiral Reuben Dijon Bites Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (1/2 package)
  • 1/4 C. Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices deli corned beef (6 ounces)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbs. caraway seeds
  • Additional Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard

Directions
  1. Thaw puff pastry sheet according to package directions.
  2. Roll puff pastry dough to 12 x 10 inch rectangle.
  3. Spread mustard evenly over dough; top with cheese and corned beef.
  4. Cut in half crosswise to form 2 (1-x6 inch) rectangles.
  5. Roll end, jelly-roll fashion; pinch seams to seal.
  6. You can freeze the rolls and bake later after thawing at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  7. Slice and bake as directed.
  8. Cut each roll into 16 (1/4 inch thick) slices.
  9. Place slices, cut side up, on lightly greased baking sheets; brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with caraway seeds.
  10. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
  11. Serve warm with additional mustard.
  12. Makes 32 appetizers
