Ingredients
  • 2 C self raising flour , sifted
  • 1/3 plus 3/4 C caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oil and water
  • Sauce :
  • Process 250 g fresh/ thawed strawberries and
  • 1/2 C strawberry jam until smooth

Directions
  1. Whisk the eggs , oil , water and 1/3 C sugar until smooth .
  2. Stir in the flour and mix well .
  3. Roll into bals by scooping them in teaspoons and using ur floured hands .
  4. Deep fry until lightly browned .
  5. Roll in sugar and serve hot with cream and the strawberry sauce

My daughter and I made these last night...mmm good! We made a fruit salsa with strawberries, blueberries, pineapple chunks and pomegranite juice. Will definitely make again!
