Vermicelli Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 oz vermicelli
  • 1 medium white onion, slice thin
  • 4 slices bacon, cut in squares
  • 1 can petit cut tomatoes
  • Parmesan cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 1/2 qt water

Directions
  1. Cook bacon until almost done with medium high heat.
  2. Add onion and continue cooking until bacon is done and onion is wilted.
  3. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper to your descretion and cook at medium heat; stir occasionally
  4. In a separate medium pot, bring 1 1/2 qiart of water with salt to a boil.
  5. Add vermicelli and cook 6 minutes.
  6. Drain pasta.
  7. Add the onion and tomato sauce to pasta and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.
