How to make it

  • Half-fill a big pitcher with assorted cut fruit (citrus, apples,
  • peaches, berries, whatever).
  • Squeeze in some of the citrus juices.
  • Add a bottle of red or white wine, a good splash of brandy, and 1 tsp
  • cinnamon.
  • Stir.
  • Chill for an hour or two.
  • Just before serving, add 1-2 cups of 7-up or ginger ale.
  • When you serve it, put some of the fruit in each glass.

    I made this tonight as written using apples, peaches, lemons, limes, oranges and a dry red wine...and it was perfect! I love the slight hint of cinnamon in the background of this fruity and refreshing Sangria! The cinnamon is a must because thats what makes it stand out from all the other Sangrias! I added my photo.
