Banana Split Cake Recipe

Ingredients

First Layer:

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 stick melted butter

1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar

Second Layer:

2 stick softened butter

2 cups confectioner's sugar

2 eggs

Third Layer:

3-4 sliced bananas

Fourth Layer:

sliced fresh strawberries

1 (20 oz) can WELL DRAINED crushed pineapple

Fifth Layer:

coconut

Chopped Walnuts

Cool Whip

sliced Marashino (Drained) cherries

Directions

First Layer:

Combine all ingredients and press into 9 x 13 pan

Second Layer:

Beat all ingredients for a FULL 15 minutes at medium high sped

When done, spread over graham cracker crust in pan

Third Layer:

Add sliced bananas over 2nd layer. Can add more bananas if you like

Fourth Layer:

Add sliced strawberries over bananas and top with crushed pineapple

Fifth Layer:

Spread Cool Whip over strawberry/pineapple layer and top with walnuts

, coconut, and cherries

Refrigerate at least 6 hours to chill and set.

I added chocolate covered maraschino cherries and strawberries to garnish.
Used real whipped cream (2 t vanilla, 2 T unflavored gelatin, 1 1/2 c powdered sugar, and 2 pints whipping cream)instead of Cool Whip.
