Lemonade Bread Recipe

This bread is great with fruit salad or sorbet! Lemony delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. frozen lemonade concentrate
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine all ingredients except the 1/3 cup lemonade. Blend well and beat 3 minutes at medium speed on mixer.
- Pour batter into greased 9 x 5" pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Loosen bread from edges of pan. When done, spread 1/3 cup lemonade concentrate over bread. Cool, remove from pan and serve. Makes 1 loaf
