Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a medium size bowl, mix together, hot water, bouillon, onion powder, and garlic salt. Mix well.
  • Add milk. Beat egg or egg substitute and add to bouillon mixture. Add oats and stir until oats are wet. Allow to sit at least 10 minutes so the flavors can soak in.
  • Roll oat mixture into balls and press into flour/cornmeal mixture. Fry in a small amount of oil, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Drain on paper towel.
  • Use for sandwiches or serve with gravy and vegetables.
  • These patties freeze well.

Looks delicious! I'll have to find a substitute for the chicken bullion since my hubby is a vegetarian. But it sounds easy and might actually be something he'll eat!
    Thanks for sharing. :)

My daughter is a vegetarian. I'll have to try this one on her. I will use vegetable bouillon in place of the chicken. Thanks for the recipe.
