Dorito Casserole Recipe

An easy casserole you can make to use up extra chicken or turkey, even picky kids like it!

Ingredients
- 1 Bag nacho cheese doritos(crushed up)
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can rip olives sliced (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 4 cups cooked cut up chicken(turkey works too)
- 3/4 pound shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
Directions
- Put half of the crushed chips in the bottom of a 9X13 baking dish.
- Mix together the soup, sour cream, olives, garlic salt, chicken, and cheese.
- Spread mixture over top of chips.
- Top chicken/cheese mixture with the rest of the crushed chips.
- Cut the butter into small pats and evenly distribute on top of chips (you can also just melt the butter and pour it all over top, it works the same!)
- Bake 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees

I USE ONE CAN OF CREAM OF CHICKEN, ONE CAN OF CREAM OF MUSHROOM, GREEN ONIONS, ONE CAN OF ENCHILDA SAUCE ALSO.. SOMETIMES I ADD 2 CANS OF RANCH STYLE BEANS..

Thanks for the recipe! I was asking about a recipe that would soften up the dorito chips so I could eat them, a little while back. This looks like the ticket except for the top crust of crushed chips. Could I mix the top crust of chips into the chicken mixture then use some extra cheese or the cheese in the recipe as the top crust? Or does the top crust of chips soak up some liquid and not get too crusty?

You could probably mix in some doritos with the chicken mixture and top with cheese, the top is fairly crispy, however we usually have leftovers so i just reheat it and the doritos end up hardly crispy at all but its still delicious!
