Spanish Roast

- 4 pound roast shopping list
- flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 large white onion sliced thin into rings shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 whole cloves shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vinegar shopping list
- 1 whole bay leaf shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 2 tablespoons catsup shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 2 ounces semisweet baking chocolate grated shopping list
How to make it
- Flour roast then brown on all sides in oil the remove from past and set aside.
- Put onion rings into pot then add salt and pepper.
- Put roast on top of onion rings then add cloves, vinegar, bay leaf, cinnamon, catsup and water.
- Put lid on pot then allow to come to a boil and simmer 2-1/2 hours.
- Add grated chocolate and stir around roast then allow to cook 15 minutes longer.
- Remove cloves and bay leaf.
