Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups pancake or biscuit mix
  • 6-8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Beat egg, add milk, sour cream and butter.
  2. Stir in pancake mix; mix well. Fold in bacon and cheese.
  3. Bake in preheated waffle iron.
  4. Yield: 12 (4-inch square) waffles.

I think its the south where they do waffles and fried chicken....maybe its Haarlem in NY...anyway, wouldn't these be the perfect waffles with fried chicken?! Yes they would. Or just with maple syrup.
