How to make it

  • Saute onion in olive oil until almost transparent. . Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, saute until garlic just starts to turn light golden brown. Add white wine, parsley and juice from the canned clams, simmer for about 5 minutes. Add tomato puree and simmer for 20 minutes. Add fresh littleneck clams and cover. Simmer until clams open (about 5 minutes). Discard any clams that do not open.
  • Serve over hot cooked pasta.
  • ENJOY!
