Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix beef, onion and 2 T. beer together and gently form into 4 patties. Set aside. In a skillet, combine and saute butter, beef soup base, Worcestershire, beer and seasonings until mixture begins to brown.
  • Add patties and reduce heat to medium high. Drain off the grease and add onions, mushrooms, pepper and seasonings. Bathe the patties in the pan juices and fry to desired doneness. Add cheese at the end to melt.
  • Remove patties and set aside - wipe the frying pan and place the buns into the pan to warm. Serve on the buns.

Crabhappy - you are not going to believe what is cooking for dinner - almost the same recipe and it smells outrageous! I winged the recipe just by ingredients on hand - beer included! No buns of course and no mushrooms in my recipe but will add for next time! By crazy Janes - is that the same as Crazy Mixed up Salt because that is what I used.
