Parmesan Garlic Sauce

This is a very simple and basic cream sauce that can be poured over any sort of pasta. Add some chicken or tuna and you've got yourself a meal in no time.
Ingredients
- 2 tbl butter shopping list
- 2 tbl flour shopping list
- 1/2 cp parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 tbl garlic powder shopping list
- 1 cp chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 cp milk shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter and garlic powder in pan over med heat.
- Add flour and cook for one minute.
- Add broth and milk, whisking constantly.
- Cook until thickened.
- Add cheese and salt and pepper to taste.

I made this tonight and it was absolutely delicious. My son, who doesn't like pasta, LOVED it! I added grilled chicken and shrimp to the pasta, and for the sauce added parsley, juice from 1 lemon, and switched out the milk for heavy whipping cream ...more
