Turkey Chili For The Crock Pot Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 4 large cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced sweet bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced pasilla pepper
  • 1 cup low salt chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder or to desired taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon chile de arbol or to desired taste
  • 2 ~ large cans red kidney beans, 1 drained and 1 undrained

Directions
  1. In a large skillet brown the ground turkey with the onions, garlic and peppers, drain. Add all of the ingredients to the crock pot, stir and cover . Cook on low 4 ~ 6 hours, serve with warm buttered cornbread.
  2. (for easier cleanup spray the crock pot with a non stick spray before adding all of the ingredients.)
