- 2-1/2 pounds beef chuck with bones shopping list
- 1 veal kidney shopping list
- 1/4 pound ham cubed shopping list
- 1/4 pound hot dogs sliced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 6 cups water shopping list
- 2 white onions chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon capers shopping list
- 1/2 cup black olives pitted and chopped shopping list
- 2 tomatoes peeled and chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1/2 lemon sliced shopping list
- 4 ounces pickled mushrooms shopping list
- 2 dill pickles julienned shopping list
- 6 tablespoons flour shopping list
How to make it
- Cook beef in water for 1-1/2 hours to make rich broth.
- Slice veal kidney into edible slices and dredge in flour then brown in butter.
- Brown onions in butter as well.
- Stir ham, hot dog slices, kidney and onions into beef stock and cook 20 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook another 15 minutes.
