Oyster Salad

- 1 pint of oysters shopping list
- 1/4 c cream shopping list
- 1/4 c white wine vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp mustard shopping list
- 1/2 tsp celery seed shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cayenne peper shopping list
- 1 Tbsp butter shopping list
How to make it
- Put everything but the oysters in a double-boiler.
- Stirring constantly, reduce to a custard-like consistency.
- Remove from heat.
- In a separate pan, cook the oysters in their own liquor.
- When the liquor boils, remove from heat, drain the oysters, and mix them into the dressing.
- Put in the refrigerator.
