Heartland Barbecued Beef On Onion Rolls

- 2-lb. beef chuck roast, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch slices shopping list
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 c. catsup shopping list
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 1/4 c. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 t. mustard shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 1/4 t. pepper shopping list
- 6 to 8 onion rolls, split and toasted if you like. shopping list
- Garnish with your favorites. shopping list
- pickles, coleslaw, whatever makes you happy! shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients except rolls in a slow cooker; mix well. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours,
- Stirring occasionally, until meat is tender.
- Serve on really good onion rolls.

I like this. Great for summertime when you don't want to stay in the kitchen. If you can't find a good lean chuck (which is getting harder to find) try a shoulder roast. Same stuff, less fat. And i'll have mine dressed with coleslaw, thank you.
