Salisbury Steak Recipe
This is a classic Salisbury steak recipe that is simply delicious.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (10oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cp Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cp onion chopped
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning
  • 1 tbls canola oil
  • 2 tbls butter, divided
  • 1 (8oz) pkg fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cps beef broth
  • 1 (1.2 oz) brown gravy mix

Directions
  1. In a large bowl combine beef, 1/4 can of soup, bread crumbs, egg, onions and steak seasoning.
  2. Mix and shape into 4 patties.
  3. Heat oil and 1 tbl butter over med hi.
  4. Brown patties on both sides and transfer to a plate.
  5. Add remaining butter and a little bit of broth to deglaze the pan.
  6. Saute mushrooms.
  7. Add beef broth and whisk in gravy mix until smooth.
  8. Sir in remaining soup.
  9. Return patties to pan and spoon gravy on top.
  10. Cover and simmer 20-25 mins.
