Salisbury Steak

- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 (10oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1/2 cp Italian bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 egg, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cp onion chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp steak seasoning shopping list
- 1 tbls canola oil shopping list
- 2 tbls butter, divided shopping list
- 1 (8oz) pkg fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 2 cps beef broth shopping list
- 1 (1.2 oz) brown gravy mix shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl combine beef, 1/4 can of soup, bread crumbs, egg, onions and steak seasoning.
- Mix and shape into 4 patties.
- Heat oil and 1 tbl butter over med hi.
- Brown patties on both sides and transfer to a plate.
- Add remaining butter and a little bit of broth to deglaze the pan.
- Saute mushrooms.
- Add beef broth and whisk in gravy mix until smooth.
- Sir in remaining soup.
- Return patties to pan and spoon gravy on top.
- Cover and simmer 20-25 mins.
