Chocolate Waffle Sundaes Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat waffle iron as manufacturer directs. Preheat oven to 200. Combine milk,butter,eggs and vanilla in blender and blend well.
  • Add the flour,sugar,cocoa,baking powder,baking soda and salt and blend until just combined.
  • When waffle iron is ready,pour in batter. Cover and bake as manufacturer directs(don't lift cover during baking). When waffle is done,lift cover and loosen waffle with a fork. Place waffles directly on oven rack to keep warm and crisp while you repeat the process with remaining batter.(you'll get 12 standard waffles)
  • Serve each person 2 waffles;top with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle with 1 Tbs chocolate syrup or fudge. Garnish with sliced strawberried,and /or confectioners sugar.
