Ground Beef Kabobs Recipe
We feel like we're camping when we eat these. The kids love them. Prep time includes chilling in the fridge.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T minced parsley
  • 2 T chopped onion
  • 2 T bread crumbs
  • 2 T tomato paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • dash cayenne
  • 1-2 T water
  • wooden skewers

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix until well-blended and smooth.
  2. Cover and chill in fridge 2 hours
  3. Soak skewers in cold water 10 minutes.
  4. Dip hands in cold water.
  5. Form portions of meat mixture into long, thin rolls about 6 inches long.
  6. Thread onto skewers, pressing meat to even the surface.
  7. Place skewers on grill, 3 inches from heat.
  8. Grill 10-15 minutes, turning frequently for even browning.
