Chicken With Nuts In Hoisin Sauce

- 1 whole chicken breast,bones,skinned and cut in 1" cubes shopping list
- 6 water chestnuts shopping list
- 2 med size dried Chinese mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2c bamboo shoots shopping list
- 1/2c nuts(cahews or almonds) shopping list
- 1Tbs. dry sherry shopping list
- 1tsp cornstarch shopping list
- 2Tbs hoisin sauce shopping list
- 2Tbs peanut oil shopping list
How to make it
- Marinate chickenbreast in sherryand cornstarch for 10 mins.
- Soak mushrooms in warm water for 20 mins. Cut same size as water chestnuts.Cut bamboo shoots into 1" pieces
- Heat oil in fry pan over high flame. Add chicken,srtir fry 2 mins till chicken turns white. Add mushrooms,water chestnuts and bamboo shoots and stir another minute Add 2 Tbs hoisi sauce and mix well. Just before serving add nut mixture and stir.
- Note: If you can't find chinese mushrooms,use regular mushrooms.
