Traditional Middle Eastern Vegetarian Dish

Ingredients
  • 2 Cans cooked Garbanzo Beans / Chick Peas
  • 4- 6 Cloves Garlic - Chopped Coarsely
  • 3- 4 Tablespoons Sesame Tahini (fresher is tastier)
  • 2- 3 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Sweet or Smokey Paprika

Directions
  1. Drain Garbanzo Beans (reserve liquid)
  2. Add: Garbanzo Beans, Chopped Garlic, Tahini, Lemon Juice, and Salt to food processor and pulse/puree until smooth (adding reserved liquid if needed).
  3. Adjust Lemon Juice & Salt to taste.
  4. Move to serving bowl, drizzle with Olive Oil and dust with Paprika.
  5. Serve with warm Pita Chips, Corn Chips, or Vegetable Sticks.

This is wonderful,, my daughter and I made this last night and we used a blender instead of food processor. It has wonderful flavor and texture. One of the best hummus recipes I have eaten.
