How to make it

  • Put water, sugar and yeast in Bosch mixer( or any other mixer you have), let stand 15 min.
  • Add the remaining ingredients.( Add the flour 2 cups at a time)
  • Mix in Bosch 10 min., then put in large Tupperware bowl and let raise for about 1 to 1/2 hours, or until the dough is double in bulk. Put in pans and let raise for another hour.
  • Bake at 375* for 20 minutes or until golden brown.( This recipe will make 2 large loaves of bread, one cookie sheet full of rolls, a ton of scones, or a big dutch oven size loaf).

Michelle, I had to flag that picture as beautiful - wow, that's what I call some "active" yeast! I could almost smell the bread baking...I'm so glad you're able to post pictures again!!!! Now send me a loaf of that stuff (it's way too hot here to be baking bread, but I know it will cool down one of these days - I miss my oven!)...Krum
