Pork Chops Cooked In Apple Juice Recipe

Pork Chops Cooked In Apple Juice Recipe
This dish evolved from raven4487’s APPLE JUICE PORK CHOPS Recipe. I made changes to suit me, made it the other night and it came out delicious. Thank you raven4487 for the base recipe.

Ingredients
  • 6-8 boneless pork chops
  • Apple Juice
  • Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning
  • PAM Olive Oil Cooking Spray
  • Quart size Zip Loc bag

Directions
  1. Rinse the pork chops and pat dry.
  2. Put pork chops in the Zip Loc bag with 1 cup of apple juice and marinate for ½ to 1 hour.
  3. Remove pork chops from bag (discarding the apple juice) and season the pork chops with Tony’s to your liking.
  4. Spray a 12 inch, deep covered (Teflon coated) frying pan with the PAM to heavily coat the bottom.
  5. On medium high heat, brown pork chops for 1 minute on each side.
  6. Remove the pork chops and set aside.
  7. To the pan, add enough apple juice to cover ½ inch of the bottom of the pan and heat to a low boil.
  8. Return the pork chops to the pan and reduce the heat to a simmer.
  9. Cover and let simmer in the apple juice for 15 minutes.
  10. Enjoy
