This is a recipe that I have had many years. My youngest son remembered it and asked if I would fix it for his son, my seven-year-old grandson. We often served it when our children were young, and cooking time was precious. but we tucked it away and haven't used it or thought about it in years. It's making a comeback to the table.

My mom also made this often as I was growing up ..we loved it! She also called it "Pink Stuff." We haven't made this for years, but I think we will add this to our menu for Memorial Day. My daughter, who is fond of all things pink will love it. All of my kids also adore marshmallows, so I think I will add some of those in as well. Thanks so much for bringing back some great memories ... and here's to making new ones.

This recipe sounds like the "fruit salad" at the old downtown Rich's department store in Atlanta!! Thanks so much!

Sounds fantastic! I am a huge fan of "ambrosia" and this sounds similar. Anyway, it's right up my alley! You Rock!
