How to make it

  • Boil broccoli until just slightly cooked. Drain between paper towels. Photo25515]
  • Mix in balance of ingredients and place in greased baking dish.
  • Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Drain Broccoli   Close

    Jeb (Jim) I like the sound of the long grain rice, I'll try that next time. And as always, my recipes are starting points. I've yet to meet a recipe I couldn't improve on... :] well at least change, improvement is in the eye of the beholder.

    Dugger: Every day is a holiday. This is just good eating any time of the year. In our version, we chop an onion and cook it with the chopped brocolli (frozen works) and cook long-grain rice separately and mix milk, soup, cheese, rice and season with black and white pepper. A friend does this and omits the cheese and adds a can of cheddar cheese soup and sliced water chestnuts and uses cream of chicken or mushroom soup. I like the celery, best, however. YUMMIE!
