These are AWESOME!!! I got exactly 24 cookies and they only took 15 minutes to bake in my oven. These went fast in my house and I'm ready to make another batch, yum!!

Baked mine for 18 minutes and they came out great. Followed the recipe closely but did add a bit of lemon zest. The cookies were soft round and a bit cakey. I did do the icing but so good plain.

Hi i made these cookies and they turn out great! Thanks! I have stored them in sandwich bags in the fridge for one night, they are still very moist. How would you reheat them in the oven? to make them more crispy? Thank U!

Looking forward to trying out this recipe. Going to my first cookie exchange in about a month and all the women in my boyfriends family know how to bake really so I have to make a great impression. :-)

These were delicious! I added chopped chocolate and a little extra spice, and baked them in muffin tins.

Great cookies! Perfect texture and really nice combination of spices make this a delicious cookie. I took these to my niece's baby shower today and everyone loved them. They went fast. I actually just e-mailed this recipe to a friend of my sister's who wanted to make these as well. I used King Arthur's flour. My daughter loved them too, so I am going to make some more this evening just for our family. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Very good. I didn't have cloves so I added a full tsp of nutmeg. They were delicious. I also didn't have butter so I had to substitute with shortening.

I made these last night. My boyfriend is a HUGE pumpkin fan and I can't say I blame him. These were a instant hit. He has always been used to his mother famous pumpkin chocalate chip cookies. So when he eats a couple-he looks at me and says 'U shouldn't have done this to me, cuz now I have 2 favorite cookies' lol They were definetly delicious. He forced me to put plate away before he ate them all. Two Thumbs up!!

I am also intimidated by baking, but the cookie exchanges force me into it. It is hard for me to bake, my husband loves chocolate and nuts, and I don't. This cookie was one that picked on the tastes and flavors that I love. They turn out really good, it is a very forgiving recipe.
