Jello-thing-a-ma-jig

My kids wanted something cold, creamy and fruity. They had in mind Ice cream, but I was not going to the store. I had jello and evaporated milk. Cam asked "Is that jello-thing-a-ma-jig ready yet?" Cook time is freeze time
Ingredients
- 2 small boxes jello, (I had black cherry, but any flavor would do) shopping list
- 2 cups hot water shopping list
- 1 lg can evaporated milk - chilled shopping list
How to make it
- Disolve both boxes of jello in the hot water
- When dislolved, pour in can of chilled evaporated milk
- Stir until well blended.
- Freeze for about 15 minutes, stir and return to freezer for another 15 minutes.

- Leaving it in the freezer for 30 minutes sets it, so it's more like a custard consistancy. If you leave it in longer, it gets more of an ice cream/sherbert consistancy.
