Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix the berries, corn starch and first amount of sugar or splenda in a small caserole dish. Taste for sweetness, add more sugar if you like it sweeter (I like it kind of tart)
  • In a separate bowl sift flour, baking powder, salt, and second amount of sugar or splenda together
  • cut in butter with a fork until mixture is crumbly
  • add milk and mix
  • spoon on top of berry mixture in caserole dish
  • bake in 375 oven for 45 minutes or until browned and bubbling
  • Serve with whipped cream, ice cream, or custard

2014 Raspberry season...4th cobbler by this recipe!!! Bitter sweet story...one of the last yummy foods my sister-in-law enjoyed before she passed (lung cancer) 3 days ago. She LOVED IT and wanted the recipe! In her memory, I am taking this to her memorial get together and calling it CONNIE'S COBBLER...hope you don't mind! Thanks you so much!!!!

I love this I could substitute stevia for the spledda. The berries are a short walk to my garden, so it would not take much for me to whip up this Fresh Raspberry Cobbler. High Five
